Fortaleza the capital of Ceará, located in the north east of Brazil, is a modern city and one of the main tourist resorts in Brazil.  The region is famous for its beautiful, pristine beaches - many of which are untouched. 

The climate in Fortaleza is hot and humid, and generally hot almost all the year round.  Coastal areas experience pleasant sea breezes, making Fortaleza a haven for surfers windsurfers and kite boarders. 

Ceará is developing and growing faster than the rest of Brazil, and as the value of the Brazilian currency the REAL gains strength, property prices are increasing.  Property however in this area, is still lower than any other area of Brazil.
