The countries official currency is the East Caribbean Dollar.  However, many prices in tourist oriented businesses are shown in US Dollars.  The EC dollar is pegged to the US dollar at a fixed rate of $1 US = $2.67 EC.

Visas are not required for UK, US or Canadian citizens entering the country, neither are vaccinations required.

Antigua is expected to see a steady growth in property, well into 2010.  Growth predictions are expected to be at a minimum of 25% per year.
